Playful music by Corelli and Krommer thread through the journey to this piece and the voices of children playing provide a background to Jocelyn Pook's Saffron - a poem connecting mother and daughter. More graceful and reflective moments occur in Derek Bourgeois' Serenade for brass band, Frank Martin's Mass for double choir and Liszt's Liebestraume No.3. Producer: Ian Wallington”
