Classical music for focus and inspiration
Episode m000yzr6, broadcast at Tuesday 24th August 2021, 7:00pm.
“An eclectic mix of well loved classical music with a watery flavour. Ottorino Respighi's magnificent depiction of the Trevi Fountain in Rome flows into a Sea Idyll by Frank Bridge, and is submerged in sadness via Judith Bingham's "Drowned Lovers", inspired by Stanford's popular part song The Bluebird. Bach and Louis Armstong sweeten the mood in this uninterrupted half hour sequence. Producer: Helen Garrison”
