BBC Proms: Sally Beamish

“Composer Sally Beamish curates a special edition of the In Tune Mixtape featuring music that has inspired her throughout her career, including works by Sergei Rachmaninov, Malcolm Arnold and Bohuslav Martinů. We'll also hear a special song written by Sally's daughter, Stephanie Irvine, as a wedding gift, a classic pop song by the Chordettes chosen for Sally's grandson, and a rollicking slice of Scottish folk music from Chris Stout and Catriona McKay.
