Take 30 minutes out with a relaxing classical mix
Episode m001vlqv, broadcast at Friday 2nd February 2024, 7:00pm.
“Half an hour of back to back classical music to help you wind down for the day. Opening with Gounod's stirring "Judex" from Mors et vita, the sequence continues tripping lightly through Debussy's piano music and Rameau's colourful French Baroque textures, then calms the mood with poignant lullabies from Rebecca Clarke and Benjamin Britten, bouncing back with a deliciously cheeky piano concerto from Poulenc, and ending with one of Enrico Morricone's most famous film scores. Producer: Helen Garrison”
